Vail debuts a two-day mountain festival- Powabunga, featuring feel good artists Zhu, Bob Moses, Justin Jay’s Fantastic Voyage, Boombox, De Lux, and Ishi.

This intimate two-day festival will take place March 22nd-23rd in Ford Park, just outside of Vail Village. Along with the main event, a costume party will take place on Saturday; attendees will have a chance to compete in categories like best onesie, and best duo, for prizes like brand new skis or a snowboard. Their Instagram has been giving us all the vintage vibes- so you can expect retro, bright-colored costumes in celebration of this theme. Doors open at 4:00pm, giving ample time to get up early and hit the mountain for a day of skiing or snowboarding on one of Colorado’s premier mountains.

The main event will end at 10:00pm both nights with an after-party to follow at Vail Ale House until 2:00am. Tickets to after-parties must be purchased separately, but are only available for purchase by festival attendees. After-party headliners are Justin Jay and Bob Moses.

2-day GA tickets begin at $125 before fees, with single day passes available. VIP tickets begin at $299 before fees for two days- and will include entry to on mountain ski-stravaganza, access to the VIP tent at the main event, preferred viewing areas, exclusive bar, complimentary tequila tastings, gourmet bites, luxury bathrooms and giveaways from the festival’s sponsors. Tickets can be purchased here.

Powabunga has also partnered with nearby Doubletree Hotel which features a heated pool, 25-person hot tub, on-site brunch and bar, and free shuttles that will run you to the slopes and the closest drop-off to the venue. With a location right next door to the after-party venue, this hotel is the prime option for attendees. A steep discount is available for festival-goers if you book through their website. The Evergreen Lodge will also be offering a discount through Powabuna’s website.

With festivals popping up all over the U.S., we’re glad to see more and more make their way into Colorado. Powabunga is shaping up to be a can’t miss for Colorado locals. Follow @powabungafest on social media for the latest updates.
