G Jones Rocks First Live ‘Ineffable Truth’ Festival Performance At Buku Music & Arts In NOLA

Buku Music & Arts festival just wrapped up down in the gator filled swamps of New Orleans and it is surely safe to say that we were blessed with some amazing musical performances over the weekend. With 2019 seeing the likes of Excision, Lana Del Ray, A$AP ROCKY, and more, the last few years of BUKU have cemented the event as a now must-visit festival in the U.S, supplying top tier creative talent year over year.

With a weekend jam packed with as many heavy hitters as we had over at the Bukuproject, it is easy you may have missed a set or two so we wanted to put together a few write-ups overviewing our favorite performances.

With that, we are kicking things off with our pal Greg Jones, typically known as G Jones. Greg has been on the MusicFest radar since his album release in late 2018, which has received nothing but amazing reviews. We were fortunately able to cover the Boston stop of ‘The Ineffable Truth’ on valentines day this year and these performances have seemingly and somehow only gotten better, with BUKU maybe being his best yet. The first festival set of ‘The Ineffable Truth” absolutely did not disappoint.

Check out some footage from the show below:

The house was hot and heavy in typical New Orleans fashion, every crowd looked electric. Many artists and performers have taken to social media to applaud the fans for their amazing vibes throughout the weekend.

Also, leave it to Bourbon St. for possibly providing G his first sip of alcohol…

We are happy to see ‘The Ineffable Truth’ dominant in its first live festival performance as it is in our opinion one of the better albums we’ve seen released lately. We hope to see some more performances like this BUKU one soon as festival season nears.
