Boogie T.our Throws Down In Beantown

The Boogie T.our made a pit-stop in Boston earlier this week and the ensemble of acts did not disappoint. The throw down was hosted by the Cambridge music venue staple, The Middle East. Vampa started things off correct with a super hype DJ set – I think she was close to breaking through the floor with how much she was stomping to her own tunes. This was a super smooth and high energy set start to finish. Im excited to see the Vampa progression in 2019.

Next up was Mersiv, I have had the pleasure of catching him a few times recently and he has been murdering his sets. Somewhat of a newcomer, Mersiv is taking over and fast. He recently completed a tour with star act The Widdler and has now been on the Boogie T.our. Providing jaw dropping original tracks, perfect music selection, smooth transitions, and big energy, the mans got everything you need for a fun fueled musical experience.

Following up the Mersiv immersion was the Boogie T.rio live band and then the infamous Boogie T DJ set. Not stopping at breaking necks with his tough Riddim filled DJ sets, the Boogie man further proved his musical talents by launching his live band at Electric Forest in 2018. The group consists of Boogie on the guitar, Andriu Yanovski on keys/synth, and Frank Castro on drums and together they are absolutely amazing!

Brock aka Boogie T, hails from NOLA and has a strong blues and funk background that oozes out perfectly in the Boogie T.rio live sets. After the wildness Mersiv brought to the party, we all had a chance to breathe as the T.rio provided the perfect vibe leading into the Boogie DJ set.

I personally love when an artist is able to provide two special/different performances in the same event or show – it is not easy to do and gives fans a very unique experience; Griz is another artist that comes to mind here. Do not chalk Boogie T up as a button pushing knob turner cause the man can JAM!
