It’s been a busy summer for The Brooklyn Mirage to say the least as they’ve hosted a myriad of events since their late Spring opening, with one event in particular that mirage goers just can’t seem to get enough of – the Cityfox Experience.
Known for their exclusive lineups of house and techno’s most in-demand artists, The Cityfox Experience saw its second edition of the summer season come to life last Saturday at the Brooklyn Mirage as the Cityfox Experience: Arise. Boasting sets from techno titans Maceo Plex, ANNA, Nastia and Patrice Bäumel, in addition to genre-blurring and house leaning sets from Tara Brooks, Dusky, Henry Saiz + Edu Imbernon, Einmusik (Live), Dejan, Lisa Frank, Luca Bacchetti, Alice Iguchi and Dory.
For those who haven’t had the chance to revel in the glowing euphoric aura of the mirage’s signature event series, it truly does not disappoint as Brooklyn’s infamous Avant Gardner is transformed into a full-fledged multi-room event complex. Complete with a food court, garden lounge, indoor lounge and three individually unique stages, it is safe to say that the Cityfox Experience is reminiscent of an intricately crafted mini music festival as Musicfest365’s readers would be accustomed to.
The Cityfox Experience prides itself on a sensorily immersive concept featuring pristine sound from KV2 Audio as well as extensive lighting and visuals and as always, a lineup of only house and techno’s finest. As the sun slowly faded away the night whisked attendees into a whirlwind of unforgettable sets – complete with a cutting-edge visual experience as the lasers and production were comparable to the finest of festival settings. As the night kicked on patrons were left with a tough decision while choosing between the musical stylings of Maceo Plex at the Brooklyn Mirage, Dusky behind the decks at The Kings Hall or Tara Brooks in The Village. However, after recently sitting down with Tara Brooks at Elements Lakewood Music + Arts festival, the choice was easy and we quickly made our way to The Village to watch her push past the conventional realms of genre once more as she magically enraptured the crowd.
For those who have yet to experience the pure euphoria of the Cityfox Experience, it is not too late as The Cityfox Experience: Transcend is set to commemorate yet another successful summer season at The Brooklyn Mirage on Saturday, September 28th. Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets early in order to reserve your spot at The Brooklyn Mirage season finale as they deliver another massive lineup compiled of house and techno masterminds, including headlining performances from Dixon, Kölsch, Henrik Schwarz, KiNK & many more.
